To be at a nudist camp
Have you ever been curious as to going to a nudist camp with your family? I doubt too many would think this is a normal practice, though my research shows differently. There are thousands of proclaimed nudists that live or visit these colonies yearly. The Medium age of a nudist resort is in their 60s, so it fortells that there must be quite a few travelers that like these nudist resorts. There are quite a few in Southern California, Arizona, and Texas to list some of the major spots in the country, also Florida where the snowbirds flock during this time of the year in winter. What is the attraction and why would someone want to go to one of these and would you really want to exploit your children to this type of community?
I for one have been to a few nudist colonies in my 30s out of curiosity and I lived in Arizona at the time and most of the larger Resorts for nudist are north of Phoenix, There are family resorts and then there are gay resorts, I am not gay so I know nothing about what happens there, although I have been to the couples resorts and there is some really friendly naked people to sit and talk to and make friends with, just one item missing is the clothes. I really was freaked out the first time I went, by myself, I went of course to see the pretty nude ladies, well was I in for a shock.
These resorts do not cater to the guy that goes looking to pick up a naked girl, no that is rule number one, No hitting on the women or men and if you do you are thrown out, now there are swingers resorts that allow sexually promiscuity, none of the ones I had visited were like that. The women, let me return back a bit were not your female show case models, they were mostly fat, and so were the men, and at first you have to laugh and feel like getting up and leaving then once you set down and start talking to these people, they are from all different Occupations and cities. They come to relax in the sun and enjoy being free. I have to admit, it was a free feeling when people let down their garments then the truth seems to rear its head. I met Truck Drivers, waitresses, CEO of a large manufacturing Operation and his wife, and it is really like one big family. One big family nude, it’s funny how clothes really hide who we are, and once they are off, your just a body, non-sexual, and kids playing around like they would in any other normal park, or resort. The name of the Resort I went two or three times was Shangri-La Ranch, which is called a family nudist ranch, and very fancy .This place was located in New River, AZ . This place was nicer than some country clubs I’ve been to, with a Olympic Size swimming pool, a, Clubhouse with every game imaginable, a dance floor, indoor dining room, Large screen DVD Family room, and so many other things.
The only difference between a country club and this Shangri-La Resort was no clothes allowed, and how does that feel? I will tell you once you arrive and see nude people you feel out of place like you do not belong, so slip them off in the dressing area and put up your valuables in a locker , or rent a room that is luxurious ,and make your way out and make friends is what happens. There is no gawking, there are some attractive women, yet most are married, there were some singles, and no sexual activity at all, unless it was behind closed doors. There are a few Rv’s that travel from one resort to another, as they are retired humans that enjoy this all over tanned lifestyle, and there was nothing wrong with anything, after a while you just feel like you belong.
I have not been back for about 10 years , and the place I mentioned above is still open as I checked on the Internet and it’s a thriving place where adults and kids just go to get away to a nice clean neighborhood, and it’s well protected, I felt secure in this place, and not a pawn or pervert, just a regular guy socializing with mostly older adults in their 50s on up, there are of course younger one’s also, and like in your neighborhood, So what? I will say this much as I write about this place , I miss it, the friendly people, it’s funny how relaxed these places really are and to go alone is ok, but possibly better as a couple. It’s one of those things people think badly about and I had my pre-conceived notion on nudist camps, but now I have friends in places I do not visit anymore.
